CPD applied for. Hypnotherapy has been used for centuries as a treatment alongside medical interventions. This meeting explores the promise of hypnosis in a stroke unit and other clinical areas for the treatment of patients with functional neurological disorders and other conditions. Our speakers include a Consultant Stroke Physician and lecturer at Keele University, A Retired GP, Former Dentist and an RGN who are Associate Lecturers at Birmingham City University. All integrate hypnosis into their work. This will be a very practical and interactive day and will be of benefit to both yourself and your patients. Case histories will be referred to throughout the day. Some pre-meeting information regarding history and theory of Hypnosis will be made available to all registered delegates prior to the meeting. The audience will be multidisciplinary and of interest to all NHS employees, doctors, nurses, psychologists, dentists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, neuroscientists and researchers.
