Posted in News Review on 10th Jun 2016

Friday 20 May was International Clinical Trials Day and Parkinson’s UK highlighted the importance of professionals getting involved in research.

In a podcast, they spoke to Michele Hu, Excellence Network regional lead for Thames Valley and lead researcher at the Oxford Parkinson’s Disease Centre.

She told them how her work as a neurologist and a researcher not only complements but drives forward the search for better treatments and a cure.

She outlined why it’s important for professionals to support their patients to participate in research, and gives advice about how those interested in research can get started.
